Maintains the cleanliness and hygiene of the entire pharmacy and retail store premises, assists with stocking and organizing, and provides general support to ensure a well-maintained and appealing environment for customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of the store (sales floor, pharmacy area, restrooms, offices).
- Empty trash bins regularly.
- Clean windows and glass surfaces.
- Ensure restrooms are fully stocked and hygienic.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, and stocking shelves as directed.
- Help maintain organized storage areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, particularly in a pharmacy setting.
KPIs:
- Cleanliness Audit Scores: Regular checks on hygiene standards.
- Timeliness of Tasks: Completion of daily cleaning schedule.
- Stocking Support Efficiency: Speed and accuracy in assisting with stocking.
- Safety Incident Rate (related to cleanliness): Low number of slip/fall incidents.
- Feedback from Staff and Customers on Cleanliness.
Shift:
- Cleaner/Store Assistant 1 (Morning): 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (to get the store ready before opening and continue during the day)
- Cleaner/Store Assistant 2 (Evening): 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (for midday and end-of-day cleaning, and assisting with closing duties)
