Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and accurately dispense prescriptions.
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, including dosage, side effects, and proper use.
Conduct drug utilization reviews to ensure medication appropriateness and prevent adverse drug interactions.
Maintain accurate patient records and prescription logs.
Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines governing pharmacy practice in Nigeria.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
Address minor health concerns and recommend over-the-counter medications where appropriate.
KPIs:
Prescription Accuracy Rate: Percentage of prescriptions dispensed without errors.
Patient Counseling Rate: Percentage of patients receiving thorough medication counseling.
Inventory Accuracy (Pharmacy Specific): Discrepancy rate between physical and recorded stock.
Timeliness of Dispensing: Average time taken to dispense a prescription.
Customer Feedback on Pharmacist Interaction: Positive feedback from patients.
Adherence to SOPs: Compliance with standard operating procedures.

Shift:
(Evening): 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM
(This ensures coverage throughout the 12-hour day with an overlap for busy periods and handover.)
